Productivity and efficiency are two things that the owners of a business strive to see in an employee, technology is a weapon that can be used to unlike both of these powerful traits. Employees feel the need to do more when there is an incentive. Technology is that incentive, the more that gets done the less stress on an employee's shoulders. Time is a big issue for many people, some are able to use it very efficiently and others not so much. Writer Amanda Kooser explains in her article “How Does Technology Improve Business” that technology allows employees to get tasks done quicker. Also technology allows people that are working on a project together to send messages back and forth or have a live video chat so things are getting done right away over a long distance. The ability to be more efficient while using technology allows more things to get done in a day, allowing employees to rest easy. That is the incentive for employees to be more productive, it is the same story with students use technology as a tool rather than a time suck. Time is such a precious thing to have and having more of it to spend on an activity that is much more enjoyable than work is a great thing.
