Musics Affect On The Brain

Music is all around us, no matter where you may go in the world every culture has their own type of music that they listen to. What people do not know is how important music really is, how it affects us and promotes our health. There are so many benefits that come from simply listening to music on a daily basis. The people who did this research on how music affects the brain is a group of physicians that wrote it on http://www.emedexpert.com/tips/music.shtml
to show the positive effect of music on the human body and brain.
One of the most interesting things that I found out to be true while listening to music is that it increases concentration and memory when doing some type of work. I personally am alway listening to music when I am doing homework, I put on a playlist and get done what I have to get done. Most of the time I just get so concentrated in my work and am so focused with my headphones in that I forget the music is even playing. According to the article “How Music Affects Our Health” it states that “easy listening music or relaxing classics improves the duration and intensity of concentration in all age groups and ability levels,” showing how everyone can benefit from listening to music. Another major positive for listening to music is that it is a stress reliever it is noted that doing tasks that you don't enjoy doing can be coped with listening to music while doing it.
In conclusion I found it very intriguing how something that I do every single day has so many benefits from doing such a simple thing as listening to music. As noted “music is one of the few activities that involves using the whole brain. It is intrinsic to all cultures and has surprising benefits not only for learning language, improving memory and focusing attention, but also for physical coordination and development.” One thing I would have to say to someone who doesn’t listen to music is to give it another shot because there are so many genres for everyone's taste and it is an easy way to have a positive outlook for the day.
