Money, that is what everyone wants, The players, coaches, and owners of a team. The baseball industry tends to bring in a lot of revenue depending on many different things. There is a lot of money revolving around baseball including things such as the players, the facilities, the staff members, and the equipment. In this article, the author was just proving raw numbers on what teams have the highest source of revenue and how much they have changed in the past years. I argue that the bigger the city the team is located in, the higher the team revenue will be. This source is relevant because Forbes, focuses on all money related topics, not just baseball but things such as celebrities and the richest people in the world.

From reading the article by Forbes, a source that talk with many of experts in the industry and many billionaires themselves, you can see that the raw number show what teams are receiving the highest revenue. The New York Yankees lead the pack of the highest team revenue, following with the LA Dodgers, and then the Boston Red Sox. The New York Yankees are worth just about 3,200,000,000, the Dodgers worth 2,400,000,000, and the Red Sox 2,100,000,000.

There is not many words to this article but it shows how much the highest teams are worth in the MLB. It also shows that the teams that are worth the most, also tend to bring in the highest revenue. With the exception of a few teams, it is mostly the teams that are worth the most, bring in the highest revenue. This article was just to prove how much a team was worth so then I could look in deeper to other articles to support why this is. In my next blog post, I am going to research exactly why bigger cities are able to pull in more revenue.
