Technology saves time

Technology not only allows people to be more productive, but it also helps people save time. People never really stop to think about it but the technology we use in our everyday lives is actually an amazing way to save time. With all the games and apps that people have at their fingertips nobody really thinks about the bigger picture. Phones and tablets put the world at one's disposal, yet people do not use it for that reason.

Writer Maynard Webb explains in his article “Technology Can Save Us Time, But Are We Spending Those Extra Hours Well?” that technology is an excellent time saver. Cars for example allow us to get from point A to point B in a short amount of time, yet nobody thinks of cars as something that saves time. Instead of going to the bank to deposit money, it can be done in a few short easy steps. The answer to almost anything can be brought up instantly with a quick search. Finally phones, they have the ability to call anybody that has a phone. Staying in touch with friends or colleagues from work is extremely simple. Technology can save so much time if it is used right, it basically plans out our day and how we will approach things. But use it the wrong way and there will be a lot of lost hours and less productivity.
