What are the scientists hired by the NFL and outside scientists finding in their research?

Is the truth something that can really make a life changing decisions? The NFL Has had an ongoing controversy with piles of lawsuits about hard hits that cause severe concussions which in the end lead to CTE. The NFL has done research and in numerous interviews the commissioners and agents have said that football is safe and concussions from the sport wouldn't cause that brain disease. Outside scientists  along with major universities and medical schools have done vigerous research to find out what really causes patients to go insane and kill themselves. They soon found out that in fact major concussions do in fact cause the disease.

Since the NFL is being bombarded with all these accusations of wrongdoing, the have hired scientist to tell the public false information and lie to them about what the sport really does to the players. However the NFL is codling the public with coming up for safer equipment to help “PROTECT” players. By this, I mean a safer helmet. A helmet that will have softer more, shock absorbing material inside to protect the brain. However that will do nothing in terms of the hard hits that players receive during games. Also the helmet is planned to cost around $650 apiece. 

My argument is not that the NFL can’t afford to pay $650 for a helmet, my argument is that the scientist are making up lies that they think the public wants to hear and think they will believe. They are making items such as helmets, that doesn't do anything to stop these plays that cause concussions that cause CTE. That is the real issue. They should focus on the real problems and start doing what is right.
